"Financial Management" (Investments
: Spot and Derivative Markets)
These slides were updated on the 6th October 2001. The content
is broadly the same as earlier versions but aspects of the presentation
have been improved
The 10 Powerpoint slides comprise all the material (and more) that
you would need for an introductory course (e.g. MBA, 2/3rd year
undergrad course) in Financial Management. They are all in a common
style and their rationale is noted for students in the first few
Powerpoint slides for lecture 1 (e.g. self-study slides). Specific
reading from 'Investments : Spot and Derivative Markets', K. Cuthbertson
and D.Nitzsche (J. Wiley, 2001) is also noted on the slides.
We will be adding to these 'lecture note slides' in the near future,
to cover other topics.
Please acknowledge the source. K. Cuthbertson and D.Nitzsche (August
