I have been trying out various methods for making additional material available. The results of these (which should be regarded as experimental) will be put here:

• An attempt at an audio-visual presentation for the derivation of the Boundary Layer equations. Probably best viewed by saving on your computer first.
• Here we look at the derivation of the group velocity of waves. (Warning, a big file of 13.4 MB as it contains animations and sound.) Note: the animations seem to run at a more sensible pace if you save the file to disc first, and don't view it using your web browser plug-in.
• In this third presentation we look at the shape of ship wakes. Again this file is large (around 8MB) as it contains animations and sound.
