I was born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire in 1960 I first went to Sunderland Polytechnic where I did a course in Applied Biology. After deciding that wasn’t the career for me I went to The Middlesex Hospital School of Radiography where I qualified in 1986.
Following a short stint at St Bartholomew’s Hospital London I moved to the Hammersmith Hospital where I worked for about 10 years before moving into teaching.
Currently I have three main roles within the department:
- BSc Programme Leader for the undergraduate Radiotherapy course.
- Module leader for the physics/science part of the course.
- Link lecturer for the North Middlesex University Hospital.
