BTRON is of "Business TRON."
CTRON is of "Communication and Central TRON."
ITRON is of "Industrial TRON."
mu-ITRON is of "Micro ITRON."
JTRON is of "Java TRON."

Note that eCos, the "embedded Configurable operating system" provides a mu-ITRON API.
