MA Programme in Human Rights
Currently, there are eight taught MA degrees on which the Sociology Department at City University offers modules on human rights.

Masters Degrees in the Law Department
Both the LLM in Human Rights and the LLM in International Law include as options the modules on the Sociology of Human Rights and on NGOs, Human Rights and the UN System. These degrees are primarily for applicants who already have an LLB.

- Two completed and signed copies of the application form
- A card, filled in with your name and address, ready for us to post back to you as an acknowledgement of receiving your application
- Two original references, sealed in envelopes and signed by the referee across the seal.
- for recent graduates, both of these must be from an academic
- other applicants can include one reference from an academic and one from their current employer
- A copy of your degree results, certified (stamped and signed) by the registry of the issuing university
- If English is not your first language, you will need to provide proof of English proficiency. City University will only accept the following English language qualifications.
- GCSE, CSE, O-level or SEB - grade C or above
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English – Pass
- TOEFL – 600 or above – new scale score 260 or above
- IELTS – 6.5 or above
